Competitors must prepare free choice repertoire to perform live for the adjudicator. The performance must not exceed the maximum duration allotted in the participating category. There is no minimum performance time required. All breaks in between the pieces, tuning and preparation must be included in the total time duration.
If the competitor’s chosen repertoire exceeds the required time, an additional 3 minutes can be given with a fee of 900 Baht. No further extensions will be allowed.
Alternatively, competitors may participate by submitting a video recording of their performance using any suitable recording device. The video must show the performer’s head, hands, or full body (if applicable to show piano pedaling) and audio must be clear enough for the adjudicators to listen to the performance. Video entry must be submitted to the festival registration form via YouTube link.

Competitors are recommended to use a live accompanist. If a live accompanist is not available, the competitor may perform unaccompanied, observing rests in the pieces, or may use a backing track.
